Formula 1 2007

A racing driver can't have bad luck. Unfortunately Raikonnen has. So does Coulthard, BTW.

In your opinion, not mine. Luckily tastes differ so life is full of variety.:)

well it just won't be f1 then will it, especially if your 2 stroke lead based petrol lawnmower can out-gun the bio f1 vehicle :D

Let's face it though, there is hardly anything exciting happening on track in F1. GP2 is a hell lot more exciting.

And making the cars slower is not going to help.

If you want to make things more exciting then remove most of the driver aids. I was so happy when I heard traction control is being taken out next year! Now we can tell the real F1 drivers apart from those who should really be in other series'. Make the cars faster and then we will see some action.:D

Yeah, I agree - make the drivers less reliant on tech. Lets go back to 1500 turbos.

GP2 is not more exciting because the cars are slower but because they do not have the aids. For instance the cars have a lot of mechanical grip so the drivers can throw the car into a corner and it sticks.

EDIT: The problem with F1 is that the actual championship is exciting. But the races are dead boring. To try make a comparison, it's like watching the Premiership where the winning teams win 1-0 in a Chelsea way. Yes you might have 4 teams fighting for the Premiership on the last weekend, but having to endure all those 1-0 matches would not be exciting soccer.

To tell the honest truth I should have switched off F1 about 3 years ago. But I continue to have hope that I will see racing again. On another forum I visit they had races from the late 90s/early 2000s. Man the passing moves back then reminded me why I have not deserted. The hope that it will all return.

Hey Hey! 2 in a row now for Räikkönen:):):).
My driver selection after the retirement of Schumi.

With half the season by now, I still favour him to take it at the end, providing consistency now.

Massa did well to start from the back and then finish 5th. And Kubica with another 4th after his almost fatal accident in Canada.

Kieriekies braai! McLaren were caught stealing Ferrari technologie, now they're losing to Ferrari.:)
Wonder if Ferrari knew and put wrong info in the package?;P:D

Yip, but i think both the iceman and alonso are finally settling into their cars. I think they are both going to start beating their teammates more often than not now.

yea well the way i look at it, is ferrarri are strong now

all we need in a few races is ferrari 1 2 with alonso 3rd to shake things up a bit

alonso is great a driver and its only matter of time before we see him putting hamilton under pressure
