Hi there

As you may have noticed we have recently upgraded the forum to a new version which came with an entirely new look. This new look was met with mixed reactions: we hope most people will grow to like it in time. This however does not mean we will not make changes to improve the forum to serve you better :D

Can you please make suggestions as to how we can improve the forum layout and functionality. Can you please stick to suggestions only in this thread to make it easier for us to see what is suggested?

Remove the "blog this post" button. It's a needless distraction which will hardly ever get used.

Increase font sizes.

Improve contrast issues.
 
I'm not sure how active the vbulletin community is but how about user selected themes?

Maybe one that resembles the old forum as well as a dark one for the night owls.

I still can't log into the photo section since the changes have been put in.
I am not sure if this was adressed in another thread.
 
Yeah it is a bit bright.
Themes would be good.
Also a line which is distinctive enough to seperate "Sig's" from the rest of the post.

when i click the link in the "Reply to thread" mail it doesnt go to the first unread post
 
Ja, fix the button which takes you to the first new post. Also, it keeps saying that there have been 0 views when there have been several replies. That doesn't really affect functionality, I guess, but it's a little disconcerting.
 
I prefer the old one. It's difficult to read the post on this new forum. Really have to focus to see what threads are on the page.
 
Am I the only one here that likes the new look?

But I do agree that reading this forum at night may be a bit bright, perhaps something like this could be nice (obviously changing colors to suite MyBB)
 
I also like it.
It looks very modern.

But....

The white. It really is a bit much.
And I liked the old list of new posts, where the sub-forum it was posted in, was in its own column instead of next to the Original poster's name.
But that is just me, as I loved to scan through that column and look for relevant topics.
 
anyone got some screens of the old one? i forgot how it looks already!!!
 
I'd like to see the date the thread was started, it'd save me of reading a bunch of 5 year old posts unless I wanted to.

It would be nice tobe able to choose small icons in the forum list. I find the new ones a bit obtrusive.

Allow one to set column width.

Allow one to set font colour
