2 replies and no one viewed it

Also I cannot sse my previous post in all my posts lists

BRING BACK THE OLD. If its not broken why change it?

Very light and bright (but clean) look, not too friendly on the eyes.
The forum was due for an upgrade.

A few things:
I can't seem to find my CP.
The photo section is now seperate and I cant seem to find the url for img tags on the pic.
The smileys look terrible and there is now a huge difference in look to the smileys, rather delete all smileys and start fresh.

Top right, Settings :p

Think I'm getting there:

Feel free to change the following sections to suit your taste:
background-color -> change the hex value to modify the background colour
a:link, a:active -> change the hex value to modify the colour of the links from blue
a:visited -> change the hex value to modify the colour of links that you've visited (or just add the same colour as the a:link section if you don't want it to change)

Still trying to crack the problem with the homepage. There are some white background images that are a bit tricky to get rid of. http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/4419/mybbblack3.png

The problem is if you use the "background-image: inherit !important" property, it removes the white images but applies the dark background for all background images (such as the status envelope next to the thread title, so those won't display either). If you manage to crack the image problem, please let me know :) If you're like me, and don't use the homepage much, then it doesn't really matter :D

although this looks great, this takes extremely long to open, preferred the older version as it was much quicker in opening.

I don't know if it has been mentioned or if it actually does work but will the Notifications link at the top show a number next to it without having to click on it and wait for the page to refresh? It didn't seem to do that for me like it used to. A small thing but nice and convenient if it tells you you have new notifications without having to click on the link and wait (for those with high latency/slow Internet).

EDIT: Oh wait the drop down arrow works :) it didn't for a second...unless my mouse aiming skillz are rubbish :p

EDIT EDIT: No wait...in the main forum view that arrow doesn't work for me but looking within a thread and clicking on the drop down it works? Not sure if it's just because of this old browser (IE6 company policy). Will try another browser when I get home.

Also on IE6 there is overlapping text when I click to EDIT a post. It appears to be my SIG overlapping where I type to edit.

I think its a nice change, however a tad too bright?

Some of the writing on the main forum page is hard to read. Is it just me or has it font decreased?

Some of the menus & icons, the way they're grouped to the left, look very cluttered.

kbpy: I see you've also run into the problem with the images on the front page. Seems to be a bit of a pain :(

Dont know if it was mentioned, but I miss the complete quick navigation at the end of the page.

I normally would read the whole thread and then go back to the topic/forum...

Now I have to click on Top and then on the forum...
