Anyone have any idea how to fix an MTN number that has a permanent call divert that cannot be disabled?

Tried all the USSD codes under the sun. The status changes when interrogated about the setting but the call divert remains active:rolleyes:

You have to call them. MTN does what it feels like when it comes to diverts.
Tried calling 135 multiple times. Always giving USSD codes or telling me they “refreshed” my line and to turn my phone off for 15 mins.

I've also heard this. Don't let them read off the script. Insist that they do it while you wait and be firm. They want to get rid of you quickly so follow the script regardless of what your query actually is.

Problem is that the consultants claim they cannot see any diverts. They cannot cancel or change anything either with regards to diverts.

Only option they claim is to log a ticket with the network department.

email them with the details .

I had that problem once with Vodacom.
I called them and asked to have my voicemail box completed deleted, which fixed the problem.
