Free iBurst bandwidth after midnight

A quick question I use a rapidshare premium account and tuesday jdownloader reported that rapidshare has blocked my IP, when I got home yesterday I checked my account status again (17:00) and it was working fine.

But it seems as soon as the uncapped hours start my ip changes and then rapidshare blocks me and I cant download anymore?

Anybody else have the same problem?

Same problem here...

So how on earth do you people download so much ? newservers? FTP? P2P? Torrents? Rapidshare, etc?

I can barely get through anything now days :/

Overnight I am also having major issues with RS :-(
Is this intentional from Ibirst side or is there a problem that will be resolved?

It has been pretty bad this past week... any idea whats going on r00igev@@r?

Definitaly getting worse... Was disconnected 2 nights in a row now. Rapidshare errors all over the place. Is Iburst blocking Rapidshare now? After 8 in the morning everything is fine again.

Seems like major international problems... only local sites working at the moment...

Apart from the internation problems that are being reported, my question is the same as jojoce's: is Iburst restricting Rapidshare? As this because the last few nights that's been impossible but come 8:00 and distinct improvement! I know its a trial and all that but it does affect whether this will be a usable option post-trial..

I don't think it's not international - some international sites seem to work (e.g. yahoo.com). Also the flagfox plugin says some of the sites I can reach are in other countries.
I think it has to do with the fault displayed by iBurst here:
http://www.iburst.co.za/default.aspx?link=support_incident
Makes sense as I also can't access my bandwith report.

Instead of using rapidshare, I use Megaupload. With the free acccount AND the Megaupload download manager i get about 120 kBytes/s (i.e. full connection speed).
One can however only queue 3 downloads unless one gets a premium account.

Also get disconnects though and (related?) download errors.

I'm guessing too many people are getting wind of this trial and the system is starting to overlaod? But why not just throttle the service to half speed then? Maybe they are just experimenting with settings and need to restart some systems? I guess that the system load will decrease if one actually has to pay for the service.

So I see the Rapidshare issue has NOT been resolved. So I will ask again (third time) - HAS IBURST DECIDED TO BLOCK THIS?

EDIT: seems to be working again for now after a disconnect and reconnect... Thanks

Nothing, it's all the same.

Do I really need internet, it seem to make you a mindless drone like tv does. Maybe if we all break free from ... oh! Funny youtube videos! hahaha... ah... where was I? Oh well, back to stumbling.

Broken again - as far a RS is concerned - not sure o the rest... So my question becomes relevant after all....has IBURST decided to block RS?

:) eltherza. What else would I use uncapped bandwidth in the middle of the night for.
