Free SMS service

signed up... hard to see the countries on the sign-up Web page using Firefox.

SMS arrived... chose username and password on my cellphone.

Said it was registered... then took me to a login page... was unable to enter any info in the boxes on the login page. No cursor... so I can't see where I am on the page... and scrolling up and down doesn't help either.

still trying on my Nokia N80.

It uses mobile data... so still not really much of an option for pre-paid users over Mxit.

I tested it and it seems to work. Lots of ad banners, but the SMSs get delivered, so I cant complain.

Works fine. Thought you might be able to access it on the net, to send from there? Am I missing something?

But this will incur data service costs, or am I missing something here?

When your cell phone goes off at 03H00 in the morning with spam SMS's for the 16th time this month ... and you ask ... where the heck did they get my number from? ... think.

Ba-psssch

Seems you have to activate it from your cellphone. I received the link, but cannot activate it on my PC, it just drops me back to the main login screen.

Its not so good. What if you sms someone who do not have airtime to access the net to retrieve the message. Then the message u sent it delayed or forgotten. So wap.defza.com/za is still the best by me. And i got my phonebook there.

How is it possible for a company to allow unlimited sms across all networks? Buying bulk from each network??

Registered with my one number, activated it using opera mini. Just sent a sms to my other number...still waiting.

If some bugger start spamming my phone, then I'll just screen those numbers :D

Or get another prepaid SIM card :)
