prepaid much better to bad you have to use it up in 1 week. But i dont mind spending R50 a week on airtime
 
I normally buy 500MB for the whole month and limit myself to 16MB a day , just doing simple browsing . With this new offer I use 500MB a week I hope it doesn't end in September.

They have been trying for ages but failed to get it right ,with mtn per R1 spent you get 1 loyalty point and you need 350 loyalty points to buy 10MB:D (thats R350 you need to spent just to get free 10MB) thats BULL@#Q@ isn't it :confused:

Just got me a new prepaid sim,recharged with R50 and i'm good to go. Even at Edge speeds this is by far the best ive had in 6years of mobile broadband. Being self-employed, adsl and contracts are not feasible for me. Plus, now i dont feel so jealous of guys getting unlimited internet on bis lol. Keep rocking the boat, cell c!!!
 
Will be using my Cell C sim (prepaid) on my iPhone 3GS, Vodasharks has been getting about R189 pm for 600MB. Cell C ftw!!

Just remember the iPhone 3GS doesn't support 900 UMTS, so you'll only get EDGE.

I am most of the time on Edge with Vodashark and use Wifi for faster connections, so Cell C will be no problem. Thanks for highlighting that though

My SGS is permanently on EDGE only to save battery. Browsing to me still feels fast enough. In any case with many mobile apps and mobile version websites, the amount of data coming through is very small, so then the difference between HSPA and EDGE.
 
This is cool, so if i recharge my 5gb data sim i get 50 sms's and 500mb or data.....Will make for a convenient topup If I blow it all before month end. :)

This is really awesome, I picked up a cell c sim to use in my Android phone instead of my vodacom contract! Let's just hope this promotion lasts longer than the end of September.

Just recharged the cell c sim on my galaxy tab with R50. Received R50 airtime + 500MB, 50 SMS's, 50 Cell C to Cell C minutes and R25 bonus airtime. Sweet :D
 
Can't wait until my vodacom contract expires, know who I am going with!
 
Activated my Cellc sim yesterday, recharged with R5 and got R25 free, put in another R50 and got another R5 free + R55min+55sms+550mb Data free used 180mb to update my android apps on my X10, this was super fast. Then popped it in my 3g modem on my laptop, and i am loving it :D..... Oh all this and still having R85 airtime left, which i then used R50 to add an extra 100mb.

This is truly awesome, as i normally get either the 300mb or 600mb for R149 and R189 respectivley from Vodacom, which is limiting to an extent for that price range.

Just a pity that in my area the CellC coverage is really BAD. If I'm lucky I will get 6Kbps. If it wasnt for that it would be a great deal. And they dont even answer my email that I've send them about the coverage.
