Hi Guys

I've noticed many complaints on the forum about the Telephone / DSL installation cost and users that are being given the wrong information on their product choice, etc.

I suggest you contact Finlay Peake at Telkom Direct in Cape Town.

He assured me that there will be no installation charges for ADSL (Business and Residential country wide) should he place your order.

Contact him via email or phone for a speedy installation.

Are you sure about this?

AFAIK, you have to do the ADSL self-install to get it done free of charge OR you need a Closer 1-5 package.

I've just received my first Telkom bill and I wasn't charged for any installation fees, since I had use the Telkom Closer 1 package and did the ADSL self-install.

When contacting him please inform him that you got his details from MyBB.

+1000000000 Finlay Peake is probably the most efficient and competent telkom employee!
Never had to wait long for line installations in the cape town area through him!
I'm worried now that he'll be overwhelmed with calls from mybb forumites now though!

Is young Peake 100% sure of his facts?

Young Peake is around 50 I'd say so I think he knows the ins and outs telkom system by now!
