Quick question,
A really close female friend is possibly pregnant. She mentioned abortion as a possible "fix" and asked if I could lend her the money if she is infact pregnant.
Possibly baby daddy is a fling of sorts. Writing boards next month so kids aren't an option for her now. She also has cystic fibrosis so there is also a possibility that she might never have kids again.
Now,I am pro choice so not going to judge her decision. Issue is, if I lend her the cash and she soon regrets it, what then?
She is like a sister to me so not sure what the "right" thing to do is. Help and risk the friendship later or refuse and possibly end it now?

For those that know my primary nick, please don't mention if here. Thanks.

Lend her the money!

If she can't afford an abortion now, how's she going to afford the next 24 months?

Lend her the money. And please insist she goes to a reputable doctor (Marie Stopes etc). Good luck to her! :)

I'm also pro choice.

If it was one of my friends I'd offer to help her with the baby first then offer to help with a fix if she declines.

I went with a good friend when she had to get a abortion. Boyfriend dumped her when he heard because he was scared of his parents. Long story.
She wanted to keep it, but it wasnt possible on her own. She got a massive lecture from me about using protection before I took her.
Saddest experience ever. Drove her home afterwards and gave her emotional support.

Help her out. No woman should go through that alone.
