Can a Male and a female have a friendship (in the true sense of the word) without there ever being any sexual feelings from either one of the 2 parties or both ?

* Pls note this exludes Girlfriends and wifes. I'm talking about Friends

Hmm, no.
Lots of sexual tension between men and women where the parties do not like it.
Having a sex drive and not being able to do anything about it is a pain in the arse.

Pitbull, maybe it's also depending on your levels of maturity... now that I think about it, when I was younger, we talking 18'ish.

I can't remember having a female friend I wasn't trying to hook up with / shag.

But as you get older, you just get over that, and having a actual friendship is more important.
 
Honestly this is ridiculous. Of course a man and a woman can be friends(in the true sense of the word) without "any sexual feelings" :rolleyes:

i used to go clubbing with about 4 or 5 hot girls and i never wanted to sleep with any of them

infact one of my best friends ever was one of those girls, and she was pretty hot
screwing her to me would have felt like screwing my sister


strange how you can see women as more than meat when you dont have feelings for them

also when u hang out with girls for long enough u dont look at them as meat but one of your mates
 
I think in every male/female friendship there comes a time when the parties think "will this develop into a romantic/sexual relationship?"

If both have answered that for themselves - and to the other person - as a clear NO, they can proceed to have a purely platonic friendship. But that bridge must be crossed ............

I remember when I met my friend Lauren... we tried, but very subtly, It didnt' go anywhere FAST... now we're good friends.

But having said that... sometimes, you can blame attraction etc... if you're not attracted to the person in a sexual manner... friendship will flourish, especially if you know how to HAVE A FRIENDSHIP

what i meant was if u think they hot, then chances are no. Some friends i have are hot, just not to me lol :p
