Doesn't make much sense, the latency seems good on a speed test, speeds are great, but why the packet loss and high ping spikes still?
 
Hmm, perhaps try ping absa.co.za and see?

I'm also seeing some loss here and there but nothing like that.

Update on the Frogfoot fibre situation:





As of 7pm 26/11/2019 We saw Frogfoot resolved the issues between them and DFA (Dark Fibre Africa).





I have monitored the lines and while there has been the occasional bump, it looks like the congestion has been resolved atleast for the time being, so we can start signing up for Fibre again.





With Black Friday tomorrow it's actually pretty good timing as there may be some specials tomorrow.





To avoid getting ripped off, here's the current pricing from the better priced ISPs:

Major packetloss here this morning for several of our neighbourhoods.
Internet going off completely pretty much constantly - congestion through the roof.

Same here, connection comes and goes.
But for the packet loss, had this since day one :) so nothing new!
 
Still same thing for me, low speeds and bad packet loss.
