My experiences with Cell C are well documented on these forums, but it's been a while since I've had a good whine, so here goes:
I had loads of problems even getting on the network, but through some serious workarounds, I managed to get set up, but without the woooosh, and with constant disconnects, at -97dBm and 96% signal strength.
Through the miracle of modern technology (and the addition of a tower or two) I could finally connect to the network at lightning speeds, and do so without wanting to destroy the modem everytime it claims to be connected, but refuses to transmit data. An average of -73dBm and 99% signal strength, 5Mbps down and 3Mbps up made for a happy man.
Now, it seems I'm no longer able to have my cake AND eat it. I get randomly "disconnected" again, my highest download speed is 3Mbps, upload is (strangely) 3.5Mbps, and I'm sitting at -89Mbps and 99% signal strength. All this after I was given some free data (a balance I'm still unable to check as it simply times out).
The Malvern East/Wychwood debacle continues! When will it be resolved? Your guess is as good as mine. In the meantime, the Cell C rollercoaster goes on and on and on and...
