Of course, if Sentech is the victim of internal fraud or hacking I might have some sympathy for them. But not when they do not communicate honestly and openly, lie in public, deny there is a problem and blame the users.
Also, what would be legally defined as "acceptable usage"? That's pretty open, but in law in interpreting that, the judge goes by what would be acceptable to the common man ie what would the ordinary man-in-the-street find acceptable. It's not an arbitrary decision for the company to make. The company advertised always on, no caps and high speed. To my mind I should be able to download at 128k, 24/7. That's acceptable to me.
