As Crystal Web we'll launch it natively soon over Vumatel, but yes you can opt for a SIP VOIP solution from anyone. You're not locked in...

hmm, that does not seem correct, they are suppose to trench at least 5 meters in your property. Will raise it with Jason

I did not know you guys have now started offering Vumatel connectivity. Dont know if you remember but we talked a little about it long ago and you guys were still planning it. I think I still have a year left with Vox though. Also I am paying R199.00 for 4megs uncapped with the. I wonder what will happen with the price I pay now then when that contract finishes next year?

At the thought of preparing my anus? not really .... it is a process you see and effort. lol

My contract includes a wifi router. I assume at the end of contract that router belongs to me. Will you guys be able to use the same one if I move over to you or do you guys require a new router to be installed?

Nah, we're easy. You can use any router you like. DSL, WAN Ethernet, ex-Vox, your neighbour's. We don't care...:D

I finally have fiber but now I gotta wait till Tuesday to go and collect my free router. CISP isn't open on weekends and public holidays. Not impressed at all
 
Not sure if this has been asked yet? But will my Unotelly, Netflix and Hulu, still work?

my router was sent to me before my fibre was installed, but I applied directly on their website first.

What type of router did they give you. Wanna know if it's worth it to wait till Tuesday or just bite the bullet and buy a decent one

Is it decent? I have a lot of devices that needs to be able to connect. Xbox, PlayStation, Roku*2 laptop*3 plus 3 cellphones
 
The routers are entry level, they work for most applications so worth trying out before spending additional monies.

Works fine with my. my setup is Cpe, Router, gigabit switch - PC and Streaming Device,
Gigabit Switch - PS4, PS3, TV, DSTV, Streaming Device, PS2, Another streaming device
At least 2 cell phones, Ipad, 2 laptops via Wireless.

And I have no problems at all with it. So it is good enough

Only thing that may bother is if you have thick walls, wifi strength drops dramatically
 
Oh dam, everyone in blairgowrie has thick walls... Old houses built properly. But I have 2 tp link range extenders as a work around for that
