Quick update regarding microsims:

MTN have dispatched the micro sims. Depending on where the clients are they will receive them starting from Monday and no later than Friday.

The later batches of Note 2’s have been sent with the micro sims.


OK! My order has been placed :D Hehe, and I'm gonna buy my wife one this weekend (or tonight, depending on how impatient we are) aswell... I cant wait for my Note2!

MTN are apparently only sending out grey models, so I think you're in luck. :)

Also, I must apologise for your unreturned phone call. I took the matter up with Richard and he has informed me that it's the phone line that's the problem. They currently aren't able to receive incoming phone calls, so that's why he never received your call. The matter has been taken up with Telkom, so hopefully all will be resolved soon.

Our sincerest apologies once again.

Well that's good news, for sure :) Let's hope the pile doesn't get depleted before they get to my order.

No problem on the phone call, Richard did call me just now and answered all my questions satisfactorily, even though I had already done the deed.

So right now I am a happy camper, and settling in for the wait, which no doubt will be the hard bit :D

We've also had a load of queries about how long the special is running. The following clears it up:

1. Special runs until midnight 31st October
2. Orders with payments made before midnight on the 31st will be honoured regardless of delivery date. Payments just have to have been made – not necessary to have cleared our account.
3. After that the price will go to R7299.

Thanks, it's sorted. I had to jump through hoops to get the phone today. RTT seriously wasted my time.

Bfore had great service though, big up to you guys. Great phone and price. Will submit a review to you guys as Richard asked me.

Hi, i just wanted to find out:

I bought my Note2 on friday (26 Oct) via PayFast and my Order Status is "Payment Confirmed". When will I know when the phone is coming? Do they just let me know the day before or such?

Also, my wife bought her Note2 the saturday (27 Oct) but via direct EFT to Bfore (and she paid from ABSA), so what are the chances of her getting her phone this week aswell?

Thanks so much for your orders! Really appreciated. :)

If you placed your order, I would imagine we will be sending delivery instructions to MTN today. You should get an email to this effect soon. Thereafter it can often be a bit of a guessing game. Sometimes MTN will SMS to say that your phone will be delivered soon, but then again, sometimes they don't. Most often the phone arrives 48-72 hours after we've sent delivery instructions, but it can take up to 10 days.

With your wife's phone, we will just confirm that the funds have reached our account (should do so today) and thereafter your payment will be confirmed and delivery instructions also sent to MTN. Your orders may even be in the same batch and be delivered at the same time. :)

Again, we cannot guarantee a delivery time as this is controlled completely by MTN. We make sure that we get your orders in ASAP and then MTN takes it from there.

From our experience, most orders are delivered within 3 days of delivery instructions, so hold thumbs! ;)

Yeah ordered another one for SO yesterday after she started playing with mine! Lol... Only bread and water this month :p

It seems MyBB is very temperamental about notifying me when there are new posts. Sorry for the delayed reply.

To my knowledge, you will get a new microsim delivered and then you need to email us (sales@bfore.co.za) to arrange a SIM swap and RICA. Richard will walk you through the entire process.

Hold on to the current sim until you're set up on the new one. :)

Once we have confirmed your payment reached our account, you should get a notification saying your order status is "Payment confirmed", following which you'll get an email saying we've sent delivery instructions to MTN. Once that happens, it's out of our control and MTN handles your delivery.

If you have paid and your order status has not been changed, please PM me your order number and I'll follow up.

Received my confirmation emails yesterday morning, thx. Just got worried why it took so long to get processed on Bfore's side as payment was confirmed as cleared when I queried by email on Friday but the order itself stayed pending till Tuesday.
Still waiting anxiously for the notification from MTN, trying not to focus too much on it but not being very successful:erm: Not too good with waiting...

Thanx for the great deal and service, you guys are amazing... just saw FNB added the note 2 for R285pm...your cost still comes in R700 less in total, it was a really awesome deal;)

Just remember that MTN don't operate on weekends, and we do say on the site that it could take up to 10 working days for the phone to arrive. :)

I'm in the same boat though, ordered myself one and am also still waiting! Here's hoping it'll arrive this week. Need the weekend to play!

On the Bfore website the current deal for the Note 2 says "Stock on order, On hold until further notice". Does this include our orders of the special? Not really going to have a laugh if I need to wait longer than this week.

To my knowledge this is just a case of it not being updated on the website. We state very clearly that delivery times can take up to 10 working days. We try our best to speed up the process as best we can, but the time that MTN takes to process orders is not really under our control. If the device is not received within 10 working days (my calculations for you reflect next Tuesday/Wednesday depending on what time the order was placed with MTN) then there is cause for concern and we will most definitely follow up.

In all likelihood, your phone will be delivered this week. There are many of us waiting for this batch of deliveries from MTN (myself included) so you aren't the only one who's anxious. :)

We do "nudge" our account manager at MTN periodically to try and propel them into action, but MTN is a big corporate and we all know how big corporations operate. ;)

I understand your impatience. I really do. But please just bear with us. You will get your new Note, just as everyone who has bought from us has received theirs.
