this is what Im thinking.

Im currently getting ass-raped by vodacom. Im thinking of cancelling with them, and getting a straight-up 200 contract with cell c.

im sick and tired of vodacom's data prices, and having to add sms bundles at retarded prices.

Is credit card an accepted payment method for this product? It's more convenient than EFT but I know that some companies disable CC payments at cost/below cost prices due to the merchant fees.

Yip, CC payments are accepted. :)

Yup I paid by CC, you just have to register on payfast.
My payment went through and the order is confirmed, now for the looooooong wait.
The only thing I would change is the colour.
Would have preferred a titanium grey!

Looks like we are at the back of the queue down here in darkest Africa when it comes to the grey models, which really sucks.

I want a grey one too, but no more contracts for me ;)

Unfortunately we've been told that Samsung SA hasn't brought the Titanium Grey models into the country. So no luck there. :(

Some very good news: The stock availability date has been brought forward to the 23rd October.

- For those of you who haven’t completed the order process please do so now.

- Those of you who have completed the process and paid your orders have been submitted to MTN to be right near the front of the delivery process.

This is some good news to end the week. Hopefully some of you will have your new Note 2’s by next weekend!!

Hey Droid,

If your payment has been confirmed, you're all sorted. :) Richard must have omitted some of the email addresses when sending the email out.

I read on the other forum (link earlier in the thread) that MTN should collect a certified copy of your ID and proof of address. Failing that you can send it to Bfore who will get it rica'd for you.
The rep can confirm.

Sorry I missed the last few messages guys, I didn't seem to get any email notifications?

Like droidx has pointed out, the first batch of Note 2s was dispatched today and should be received within 72 hours. The orders dispatched were all those that had been paid up before today.

If any of the following people are forum members here:

We are waiting for payments from you so that we can complete the orders. Orders are not dispatched until payments are made and confirmed.

Please guys, let us know what your experience with BFore has been like once you've received your devices.

Droid is right. That's how the process works. Please have a certified copy of your ID, as well as your proof of address, on hand for the delivery guy. If he doesn't collect, you'll need to email the documents to us and we will get your device RICA'd with MTN corporate. It's a painless procedure. :)

Difficult to tell with MTN, but as far as we know they have sufficient stock. My suggestion would be to place your order via our site and select EFT as your payment method. Add a comment to the order stating you will pay at the end of the week, provided there is stock available.

Richard will let you know what the situation is regarding stock and keep you updated.
