What phone do you think gets the most love when it comes to updates. My note 4 had a lot but the note 8 not so much love
What I tend to find though is that the Galaxy Notes tend to be more stable/less buggy out the door VS. The S Range.
Very true. That's because the Notes tend to be more iterative, and less innovative.
I am downloading it. Thanks a lot.I see the official Oreo, South Africa for XFE is available on sammobie.

You most probably already flashed XFE ( from XFV.)Can I flash this XFE on my XFV Note 8?
If it hasn't stopped troubling i suggest you back up, factory reset. Reflash then factory reset. Then set up again.Anyone have issues with the carrier connection dropping? Data stops working cant receive or place phone calls/sms's. If i restart phone it works again then after a while stops again.

Hi guys.
After trying to flash to BTU a couple of days ago, I am getting the following message when I boot into recovery:
-- deleting selective files*
remove failed dir '/system/app/IQAgent' (no such file or directory)
Anything to worry about? Phone seems to be working fine.
Did some googling but nothing much came up.
There are plenty of hits when you google the term, so I'm not sure how you didn't find any. Plenty just on XDA..
Search this term in google:

Unlikely, the XFA /XFE is part of a multi csc firmware. If your phone is not already on any of those csc it will revert to i think ARA for those specific firmwares.Hi
I'm a newbie Android and Note 8 user.
I have a Vodacom issued Note 8 with the XFV firmware, but I am using a Cell C sim.
If I flash this Note 8 with the Cell C firmware (which I think is either XFA or XFE) will the wifi-calling function work using a Cell C sim ?
Thank you
