Correct, only difference is the keyboard. It does not have the track pad.
On a different note, seeing the new Microsoft launcher and Edge beta, it would be nice if they collaborate more with Samsung and roll that type of functionality into DeX.
I could get by using only the DeX setup, and a remote desktop client to connect to a VM in Azure when I need more processing power. It would especially be handy if a DeX version 2 comes along with dual monitor capability

So the brother of a colleague of mine is a Samsung dealer. He's getting me the DEX station with folding keyboard for R1700. Not a bad price...
