Wow, then it is going for a steal here in Kenya !!! It seems odd - S.A being more first world (supposedly), bigger market etc and yet it is so much more expensive there.
Petrol here is also a bit cheaper than ZA, we pay around R 14.00 per litre. My cellphone plan costs R 300, and for that I get 35 GB data monthly (with monthly roll over), 3000 minutes talk time and 1000 SMS.
Back to the topic - I think I will go and get myself a new Note 9 this afternoon then, from the local Samsung propriety OEM shop. Thanks for the feedback
As for SA being a first world country, that is not really true. Third world and way behind in Kenya in all aspects.
But, my Note 9 on a Vodacom contract, no monthly rollover, is R1200 (includes R300 insurance on the device) and I only get 500MB data and 200 minutes airtime and 200 SMS's.
