Does anyone know if any of the SPs have a register or waiting list for those interested in getting one of these phones when they are released here? (Hopefully second week of June) Been to two SP shops (MTN & Vodacom) and neither had any interest in taking down my information or even when the phone was being released.

I haven't heard of any lists yet. I don't even know if the local launch has happened yet. But I have my ear to the ground

Thanks, going to give them a call. Have they given you any indication on contracts or are you paying cash monies?

Contracts should be similar to the current S2 packages according to the guy at Cellucity. Expect S2 prices to drop perhaps, or maybe pay a little fee in...

I hope so, even R400pm with 250MB would make me happy.

The current S2 deal is R299 with 250MB. Vodacom could score points if they charge R400 for the S3 and up the data perhaps. Who knows. Come the 7th, I'll be sure to let you know.

Doubt its the same as the S2, the S2 has been really really cheap in the past few months.
