Hi all,
I'm having a bit of trouble with my new galaxy tab 10.1 and I was wondering if anyone here could help.
In short, the device cannot access the internet when connected to 3G (including HSDPA, etc.)... what I find strange however, is that any device connected to it using its wifi hotspot can.
In a bit more detail...
I am on a Vodacom 2 Gig bundle and have confirmed that all of the APN settings are correct. Since I am accessing the internet through the connection, I suspect that the fault is on the device, rather than with the network.
Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

- The device is definitely connected to the network (at the moment 3/4 strength 3G).
- No apps that requires an internet connection can access the internet. When you attempt to use the browser you receive this error "Authentication via the proxy server was unsuccessful".
- So as a matter of interest, I turned on the wifi hotspot and connected my laptop... and the net works fine.
- I've confirmed that it also works on my cellphone when I connect that to the wifi.
