Please assist.

I have a galaxy tab 8.9 and using the native tethering option under wireless settings, i have managed to setup the tab as a portable hotspot

I can connect to the galaxy tab with wireless using my blackberry and can browse to websites etc with no problem.

the issue is that I have added the wireless hotspot settings and password etc to my laptop, enabled the wireless on wndows, it shows connected, but i cannot browse the internet.
webpages just do not load.
Google says connected to google, but no page loads.

PLEASE HELP!
thanks.

Do a Ipconfig and see if your getting a 169.*.*.* address.I know I had that problem sometimes that it exchanged incorrect IP info.
