Got myself an Anbernic RG40XXV and loving it so far. It can do emulation up to PS1 flawlessly, but can also do a bit of Dreamcast, NDS, and PSP.
It has TV OUT via Mini HDMI and bluetooth, so obviously hooked it up to the big TV and dusted off the Switch Pro controller. Something magical about replaying games you played 30+ years ago. This thing also does the ancient consoles so I want to give some of those games a spin, like Atari 2600.

I'll bring your pucks to work tomorrow.
Thank you.I'll bring your pucks to work tomorrow.
Forgot em on kitchen counter this morning.
Thank you.
Been playing LEGO Dimensions a bit. Not a bad game.
Think you guys will get my frustrating issue.
As soon as I get in to a fight and the controller vibrates, the game changes my character.
I know about Tokyo stick drift, but I have never seen this happen before on a PS3.
Official PS3 controller, but intermediate wrong button presses... never heard of this before.
I know it happens to my mom's HiFi, you press Function but the HiFi registers it to change from Deck A to Deck B.
I might need to change to a PS5 controller for the PS3 too.O.O
I swapped to PS5 controller on PS3 as my battery life on og was getting really bad, no stick drift.
Ironically I use Nacon on PS5 to prevent Stick drift on 30th anniversary controller one.
You sure it's not just that stupid ribbon connector on the PS3 controller not making contact properly any longer because the foam beneath it has worn out?Thank you.

Will have a look for this. Thank you.You sure it's not just that stupid ribbon connector on the PS3 controller not making contact properly any longer because the foam beneath it has worn out?
I have that problem on my PS3 controller. I had incorrect or random button inputs happening, especially when it did the vibration thing. I opened it up and added some tape beneath the foam to beef it up. Fixed my issue. The ribbon is held on by pressure alone.
I might need to change to a PS5 controller for the PS3 too.
If you get frustrated enough to open it, there are plenty of Youtube videos on this issue. It's a known problem. Here's an example:Will have a look for this. Thank you.
Have not opened it yet. Just a few smacks when playing a game to try and mitigate the problem.
Controller is OEM, so if it gets bad enough, will I open it.
