A table top version. Very nice. All build from scratch ? What hardware and software is inside ?
Thanks! Yes, built from scratch around a Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB running RetroPie and a standard joystick set and USB interface from ultracabs.co.uk (not sure if they still exist). It works really well and I'm very happy with the hardware, but itching to rebuilt it using better plywood. And tools.A table top version. Very nice. All build from scratch ? Out of your collection, which item holds the most monetary value?A remembrance pic.
Sold off the last batch of my NES games.

Hard to say. It would depend which market we're talking about. I have a mint GameBoy Advance game which saw only a very limited run. Not many copies were produced. Overseas the average selling price of it is around $1000 for a complete-in-box copy. It's a sought after title by those with an interest in retro gaming. Here in SA you'd just get a blank stare.Out of your collection, which item holds the most monetary value?

I have a couple Sega CD games which go for even higher than that. But, again, depends where you're able to try and sell them.

Let me have a look. Maybe I've still got one or two of those.Nothing super specific really, maybe Pac-Man collection on GBA (or any other Pac-Man), Donkey Kong on GB (lost mine years ago, sure it was stolen) and any of the old Namco collections etc.
Any other Mario/Pokemon games you may have. I've got a couple that have bad labels (Fire Red and SMW-Advance 2 for example)

I'm currently trying to collect all Pokemon games. My kids are huge fans (we are a Nintendo family and I've raised them properly), but me not so much. I've got quite a few GB/DS games I've accumulated but never played more than a few hours over the years.

My next step I want to get is something called Pokemon Box.
The GBA games connect to it and store monz.
Big fan myself. I see a person is selling those carts for R1600 on BoB, quite expensive
I remember on my Motorola V360 playing Zelda Minish Cap and ever since then wanting to play it on actual hardware. One of these days I can.
Got Swiss running on me Cube. Works like a charm.
Was lucky that SAPO did not steal my stuff, the Gamecube got close to being "lost"
All carts in great condition:Nice, how's it going?
