Game/console collectors thread

Maybe not the correct thread, but lets give it a go.

My Switch is just sitting there, doing nothing, and I don't think I would play it again.
I am pretty sure it is network-banned.
BUT, it is jailbroken with RCM-jig (included)

What do you think would be a fair price?

My refurbished Nintendo Gamecube arrived yesterday! That makes 2 Nintendo consoles now (along with the Wii I got brand new years ago).
Time to stock up on games!

Just saying, look in to the SD2SP2 adapter.

Get WindWaker and boot in to Swiss.

Willing to assist to load a corrupt save on your memory card.

Swiss allows you to play game iso from a SD card.

is there a way to undo the mod?
 
Possibly not on topic, but does anyone know whether any service providers repair ancient tech? I have an original Gameboy from the 90s, but after the startup screen, it doesn't work, so I'm wondering if it's possible to get it repaired.

Do you have a game in it when you start it up? Is it original DMG-01 type?

Depending on condition and extras etc i've seen these go from R4500 up to R7500 on Carbonite - infact there are some on sale there at the moment, one just got sold for around R7k within the last week.

That being said i'd rather keep the console, i havent used it in the last 2 years but this past 2 weeks i've been doing my research and decided to update the softmod i had (SXOS) to Atmosphere and update the firmware etc the amount of games and retro games available now compared to a few years ago is insane!

So decided i was going to make a game station for the kids, i ordered a bigger sd card and have been busy getting some retro roms etc all set up with some new games (legit of course :D ) and i'll use the switch in dock mode and the kids can just play until they get bored. i have an older tv which i'll use and i also bought that nintendo mini a few years back which i'll also set up for them and i'll add onto it slowly like adding a ps4 in future.

Those of us lucky enough to get a V1 switch have really got the most out of our switch recently, considering nintendo rarely ever drops the prices of their games its really awesome to have these options...

Only if the mod was done the right way and you used emuland i believe and upgraded the firmware via nintendo's site then i think its possible to reverse the mod but all depends on how it was done and maintained since then

Yes you can but again only if you modded it the right way. check out reddit if you want to learn more but there are guys playing fortnite etc online with no issues while still having the mod active to play backup games

there's no need to remove the mod if done right, my online games are on the ps4 and my switch is always offline although i'm not banned, its been offline since i did the mod as a precaution

amazing response, thank you very much.

I should actually update to the latest atmosphere and have another look.

That said, my Pro controller was "lost" somewhere in my house (I suspect some body stole it)

It's a software mod, if you turn off the device completely, you need to insert the RCM-jig and inject a payload again.

It's been a while, but I think it boots the modded form the flash drive, but the original system rom is still on the internal nand
 
I am no collector but I know I have one of these somewhere either in my garage or maybe in my mothers garage. Was still working a few years ago when last I saw it. Wonder if they worth anything today
