No idea. Only tested as per dozens of repair guys suggest on YouTube. This kind of stuff is out of my league
Tested for short to ground on 12v rail, positive.
Than tested continuity / resistance of mosfets as per youtube and found that one to be dead.
They suggest that replacing the dead mosfet solves the problem 99% of the time.
Are you talking about the caps above the coils? Between coils and apu?
Have not tested them, don't know how.
Will test the diodes as well after work below the mosfets.
Reason for asking here if someone will be able to replace that mosfet (with payment of course), who do it as a hobby is to see if that fix the no power issue or not without other parts replacement. If it works my son will be happy, if it does not work that's okay as well.
Repair shops want to do full assessments (understandably) and that is very expensive.
