Correct .... and therein lies the challenge. It is all dependent on what you want to do with it

For sure. my 3KW with 5.2kwh is not DB connected, but does what I want it to do, with a couple of custom extension leads, built for R28k odd. Don't need more now, as there are other plans in place coming in August

thats amazing capasity. whats your complete setup for R28k odd? i imagine you save a few K by not having it DB integrated, but still. really good value

Not going to go into too many details, and a lot was already shared in other threads, but thought I would create this thread, should someone want to get some inspiration or ideas when it comes to building your own "Inverter Trolley". History During the December holidays, my dad and I were...

Ok thats not fair. you know what you doing hahahahaahaaaaa. Thats 10k saving right there.
I wouldnt do anyting like that myself. but i made sure to research.

PS. my boet is using a 3KVA must inverter with 4KWH must powerwall and its been incredible running their computer, fridge, lights and tvs. really decent product

I would easily db connect anything inverter , naturally you have to select the circuits you want on it

Ie leave most of the db on eskom
Seperate the lights and pc/tv circuit add it to light circuit , get it its own earth leakage and just run a sepperate neutral for it

That way no leads , could even ad a changeover switch for incase of inverter/battery fault

To be able to go back to eskom

I had no clue my friend. Spent a good amount of time over December and beginning of January researching what is needed and how to do it. My dad has all the tools and bits and bobs (and physical labour knowledge of how to put it all together). So yeah, without him this would not have happened :)

250 Gig SD + Switch was just R7000

Besides a Steam deck would be a waste for me. Only use my Wife's Switch once in a while, have my trusty old Anbernic with 8000 roms always on me ready to go:

I must measure how much power my Atari 2600 consumes on my inverter
Only drawback is the CRT monitor chows tons of power

Just curious because I have a big (320 games) steam library. No PS or Xbox titles.
Reason I had 0 interest in Nintendo is its always Mario or fookin Donkey kong or Zelda that people mention when you ask about the switch.
