Hi There,

Please suggest Gap Cover policies that you personally have had good experiences with. I am looking for ones that will cover the co-payment for MRI/CT scans and then obviously shortfalls for in-hospital accounts.

I use Turnberry.
Good turnaround times and a seamless claims process (used 3 times)

I use Stratum. Have claimed numerous times with no problems, though you do need to make sure you provide all the necessary papers related to a claim.

I'm on Sanlam comprehensive, but it seems like it's actually done through Xelus...

Doesn't look like they cover co-payments for MRI/CT scans.

They do
"You will also be covered for a total number of 2 MRI or CT scans up to an amount of R 2 500 per scan per policy per year, when you become liable to settle a portion of your service provider’s account"

Might depend on what plan you choose? I don't think all plans cover co-payments

I'm on stratum Elite plan and they paid for my co-payment for a scope, no problems at all and turnaround time was really quick. I don't even have a broker so did everything myself
