hi i am looking for garmin mobile xt software for nokia e66, can teach me how to install it and where can i get it, and for the map i need singapore & malaysia. thankz pls help me:p

Why don't you just go to Garmin's website and buy it from them? Oh, wait, you're looking for a freebie?

To get the latest version of Garmin Mobile XT go here : http://www8.garmin.com/support/colle...t=010-11034-00

Download the Unit Software for your device as well as the two additional software packages (base maps and support files).

Plug you phone into the computer in mass storage mode or put the memory card in a card reader. End result is you need to access the memory card as a drive on your computer.

Run the unit software installer then the two additional software installers. All of them must install onto your device memory card.

You must then run the installer on your device, for Symbian devices go to App Manager and you will find GarminMobileXT with a status of Not Installed - so Install it.

After it installed open it from the Applications menu, select your setting, cancel all the bluetooth and find GPS non-sense, go to Setting and then About. Below the IMEI and IMSI numbers you will find the Device ID (Card ID). Make a note of the Card ID somewhere and then put that into the keygen.

Copy the 25 digit code it makes into a text file that you name SW.UNL and place this in the Garmin folder on your device memory card.

Open Garmin on the device and under settings change the remote GPS to built-in/attached.

Now your device is running the latest version of Garmin Mobile XT with Base Maps.

Another adventure is to get detailed maps on it - but someone else can help with that. Just keep that Card ID you noted because you will need that (along with your details map set ID) if you which to use detailed maps.

keygen already install as a text in the garmin file. (is it using word pad prog?)

additional map

I have followed the great instructions above and i was able to set up Garmin with basemap. now i need to load another map that i have on my pc. the question is, if i simply copy it to the Garmin folder on my mobile, i think i need to assign it to Garmin and i am not sure if i need to create another .UNL file. but i am not sure how this should go.

can anyone please help?

Thanks.
