Line disconnects almost every day between 22:00 and 0:00; as well as when it rains. Logged calls with Telkom multiple times over the years, but the situation has never changed.

Phone No: 012 993 xxxx
Line speed: 4MB
ISP: MWEB uncapped
Time: 22:00 - 0:00; as well as when it rains or when there is lightning.

Firstly, the rain issue means that somewhere between you and the exchange, the wires are exposed.
As to the disconnects, it could likely be part of the above problem, possibly old or corroded wires.

I've had this problem for +- 7 years

We use to have a 4mb line but we were lucky if we could get a 1mb sync.

I spent hours on the phone with telkom with multiple call-outs just to be told nothing could be done or they can't find anything wrong

The faults were very erratic as well. it would work fine for a few days and then go down again for a few days.

Finally we went down to a 1mb line because Why do I pay for a 4 mb line if my speeds is brought down to 1mb anyway just so that i can sync.

And the problem only gets worse. Some days I'm lucky to get a 300kbps sync.

Apparently my closest exchange is in Lynnwood and if that's true then everyone in my area is struggling. There are Millions of businesses in my area as well , Why not build an exchange here???

Also if it rains then i can forget about a connection for at least 2 days!!!

Number: 012 361
Line Speed: 1mb (was 4mb but useless)
ISP: Mweb Uncapped
Time of day: happens randomly anytime of the day.

Pic of my sync speed when its not working. (277kbps DL)

Attenuation (0.1 dB): down 455 up 257 (This is when its working)

I'm so gatvol!!!!!!!!!

Telkom have "checked" the line multiple times, right up to where it plugs into the router. They say that there is "nothing wrong". I've also had multiple routers over the years, no luck.
