Last time I bought Nespresso compatible from Woolworths, it was terrible. The shots took twice as long to pour, and sputtered and dribbled like me in my nineties. Now it’s genuine Nespresso capsules or nada for me, I just don’t like those small annoyances. The best instant (or rather that tastes like filter):
VIA Starbucks.
But I'm also partial to Nescafe Gold 'Espresso'.
Otherwise for espresso Nespresso, either Nespresso, or Nespresso Starbucks or Lavazza Nespresso or WW Nespresso compatible. The Nespresso matcha sold at WW are also nice.

Yeah, I’m not a massive nerd but I cared about this enough to discover that even though Nespresso’s protection of the pod design has ended, they still have exclusive use of some of the packaging within the pods which delivers the higher-pressure shots. Not for nothing they now moved over to larger pods which are exclusively under their control again. It dribbles slowly sometimes but it's decent.
Genuine Nespresso is also about how it's packaged. Starbucks is Nespresso licensed so their capsules go well. Lavazza is not licensed but has no issues. It depends what's on hand. WW takes longer with Lungo but on espresso setting it's very doable, for me.
