No - it's a monopod. It's sissy sticks you must be thinking of.Is that a sissy stick?
Well to be fair there is a mini tripod there (top right) for a remote camera. Had to shell out nearly R300 for that thing today!

Shame man. Shaking a bit in your old age. Stick to the "remote camera" story. Sounds credible.
How do you plan using the remote camera? Are you capturing the same shot from 2 different angles?

Other times I'll just trigger it separately.

The BBC runs a series called "We set the theme; you take the pictures".
At the moment the themes (and deadlines for submission) are:

A version of that first one is becoming a 2m wide canvas print (full resolution is 22558*9720 - I did the shot twice, once using nine shots from an 18-55 and the other using 36 shots from a 50mm f/1.4, as I've sold the higher quality image I'm only sharing the one done with the kit lens. The effects are identical between the two)

If you guys are using Lightroom and/or Photoshop and you are love using keyboard shortcuts. I found this awesome little app that shows you all the shortcuts for Lightroom, Photoshop and Blender.
You can select different versions of the app. Also for Windows or Apple OS. Also separates the shortcuts into every different module of the program. eg. Library, Develop, etc.
Just click on the Ctrl, Shift, Alt buttons (or all together) for those shortcuts.

I need advise from a pro photographer/s please.
I'm building my portfolio and got an opportunity to work in a studio/ business environment over weekends. It is rare, in my experience that people that call them selves professionals are looking to employ people that is starting out.
Without going into a long cv of what I can do and what my experience is.
I looked at the persons website and I don't want to make photos like that. But I do feel the exposure to a professional environment is critical.
I need a professional to look at the website and tell me if you would be able to work with this.
Do you think you would be able to work in an environment that isn't what you find esthetically pleasing or your "style".
I don't want to publish the website here so if someone are willing to help me out I'll PM you the link.
