General Photography

I have been thinking about this a bit now.
And I think the question I should ask myself is:

Since I have only one chance of establishing my name in the industry, will this hurt or promote my image.

How would this hurt your image? :confused:

So if you're being hired for photography, take better pics than they have.

Is he successful? If he is then, given my 80:20 rule earlier, you may well benefit.
 
That is the other side of the coin. :)
I will go and find out what the set up will be and what they require of me.

Also, keep in mind that while you're working for him anything you do is most likely going to be his anyway. Are you certain that you can even use anything you shoot while you're working under his umbrella?

it is a couple and I assume that you are overbooked and need help.
If success = bookings it looks that way.

I have not posted many photo's here, My taste doesn't run towards the funky photo shop edits. Where you add stuff to a photo.

Cheapest? 5:1 reflector disk. :o

Will you have access to power or are you hoping to run off a power pack? I bought the Godox 3x 300w kit and it pretty much does everything I need but it needs power.

Reflectors only really provide fill light, I've seen strobe heads going for as little as 1K considering that the 430ex is going for over 3K and is not that powerful compared to strobes was considering investing in strobes instead of multiple flashes

Wrt reflectors it all depends what your source is. The sun for example can provide a helluva lot of light for a reflector.

I think I paid r5-6k for my godox kit. That included three stands, modifiers, and a carrying case.

lol - no. I was planning on shooting squash today and needed something to mitigate the crazy reflections that have plagued me in the past. :)

KFC Famous Bowl to the rescue (again!).
