I hung out in quite a few of those anti-racism Facebook groups for a few months and they are cesspools. The overt racism in those groups is pretty vile. This is why I am becoming more and more cynical. Lovely people like our fellow forum members want to run around declaring people are KKK members while they cannot condemn all racism or thuggish rioting really don't have a place questioning anyone else.

They are closed groups and they are far worse. Some even rejected me because I am white.

The mind space of these people to do this to their kids - how insane to make a kid apologize for doing nothing wrong, on a topic which is far beyond their comprehension.

I'm not in the least bit surprised. I am flabbergasted how even very intelligent people advocate building parallel structures of racism to combat racism.

Imagine what the parent must be like in order to care enough about internet points to post something like that.
