Who would have thought that in July 2016 when BLM was protesting the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castillo at a protest in Dallas, a BLM member opened fire killing 5 policeman, would have driven internet traffic on google?

Not too mention the hundreds of other protests in other cities all over the USA at that time.

August also saw the beginning of Colin Kapernicks protests.

Absolutely stunning detective work by this tweeter here. Really cutting edge stuff!

Will the author be tracing the fact that water is wet during the lead up to the 2016 election as well and whether it is still wet in the 2020 election cycle?

Remember when lefties on here said all the stupid stuff that young lefties on campus would remain there and conservatives were hyping a non-existant problem that did not exist in the real world? Well...

It's related to this story: https://edition.cnn.com/2020/06/04/media/new-york-times-tom-cotton/index.html

No but I do remember when all the righties (because apparently lefties is a word now, so I guess righties is too even though it's stupid and denigrating and bad English) were saying that people complaining about Trump encouraging people to beat up protesters at his rallies were hyping a non-existent problem that didn't exist in the real world. /shrug

On the endemic racism of the protesters.
From Chris_the_not_very_brit's article:

Many years ago I was introduced to one of the most helpful rules of logic: to never say or write anything the opposite of which would only be uttered by a madman.

Which would be sensible advice if he did not immediately - and for the entire rest of the article - ignore that same rule...

On the endemic racism of the protesters.
Why I won't kneel. Because there is no systemic racism. What are these people kneeling doing? Saying that they are sorry for being racist? Well I geuss that's good. But I don't have anything to say sorry for.

Maybe it will work to make all the libtars kneel and say sorry for their racism.
Maybe it will work even more if they hand over half of their possessions as reparations when they kneel so that it isn't just empty virtue signaling.

There is no endemic racism in the protesting. The article is just generalizations and whining about right-wing bogeymen. For instance:

Likewise, among the lists of online demands and assertions of recent days there is only one test which can tell us whether they are diminishing racism or encouraging it — that is to try replacing the word ‘white’ with the word ‘black’ and vice-versa.

Doing so reveals the fact that most, if not all of these vogue-ish lists of instructions are profoundly racist. We would recognise this if they consisted of lists of assertions about black people, or instructions to black people on how to think or speak, or referred to ‘all black people’ as if they were a homogenous group.

Exactly WHICH "lists of online demands and assertions of recent days" is he referring to? Is it too much to ask for a few examples so we can sift through the 'endemic racism' in them? Nah, we just need to take his word for it that all left-wing outlets are publishing lists of demands.
