Ok, let's look at it this way...morals. I don't do stuff that would be morally reprehensible so, I believe I have morals (I'm not perfect). I'm a pleasant human being. Whether my morals are better than anyone else (your words) is open to debate. It depends on culture and neighbourhood.

Seriously, what gives you the impression I think I'm superior in intelligence? I can't even begin to fathom where all of this rubbish comes from.

Well the South did make that argument prior to the civil war. Slaves were their property and property rights are fundamental!

They used the courts to decree this as such in the infamous Dred Scott Decision which ruled that all blacks, not only slaves, are not to be considered as citizens. This then meant that slaves could be considered as property (also using other court cases to wrangle this definition).

Thus, they argued that as the US Constitution defends property rights, the use of slaves was Constitutional.

It was a substantial factor in the divide between North and South over the subject of slavery.

Through Lincoln's work were these determinations overturned.

I'm not sure how all this slavery , guilt , etc got in this thread to be honest.
The recap of the thread is , guy does drugs then goes to pass off fake cash , cops are called , guy resists and cops botch their job which results in criminal dying due to a mix of dugs,health issues and police action.
Cops are taken into custody and are a pretty diverse group , at no point did any officer make racist statements .
People burn homes and businesses because of as far as we can tell , someone decided it was racism.

Not sure how that happened but it did , now cops arent allowed to enforce the law and doctors are saying covid won't be an issue at the riots and you should socially distance unless you are rioting.

A self-described Ku Klux Klan leader who drove a vehicle into a crowd of peaceful protesters demonstrating against the killing of George Floyd in the US state of Virginia is being investigated for possible hate crimes, a county attorney said on Monday.

The man has been charged with several offences after he "recklessly" drove into a crowd on Sunday, Henrico County's Commonwealth Attorney Shannon Taylor said in a statement posted on Twitter.


US media reported that one protester was injured in the incident near Richmond. The person was checked at the scene by emergency responders and refused further treatment.

"Harry H Rogers, 36, is charged with assault and battery, attempted malicious wounding, and felony vandalism. Additional charges are being investigated," Taylor said in a separate tweet.

In the statement, Taylor said Rogers "revved the engine" and then drove into the crowd.

"The accused, by his own admission and by a cursory glance at social media, is an admitted leader of the Ku Klux Klan and a propagandist for Confederate ideology," Taylor added.

"We are investigating whether hate crimes charges are appropriate."

Rogers appeared in Henrico court on Monday where he accepted a court-appointed lawyer, CBS-affiliate WTVR reported.

I find it interesting how South Africans, a whole 4000 plus posts, think they know what African Americans have to live with and have to accept as normal every day. Yet when these South Africans feel oppressed in a system which is designed to only favour a majority and oppress a minority it is a problem.

Go figure.
