The funny thing is that there are rumblings (a few comments on the Native American subreddit from 1 or 2 months ago) that some tribal leaders (whatever they're called) have kept the money and the people of said communities haven't seen a single dollar of that money.
Also, it's not $5B, it's $8B that's been earmarked for them in the $2.2T stimulus package. $4.8B is being rolled out already but the rest is currently being held as there's a lawsuit by a bunch of tribes against the government.
 
I think the MSM is pretty successful in pushing the narrative that only white supremacists like a police force. Time to abolish and decolonize the racist police force in the USA.

Speaking form the context of the thread: Perhaps they should look into whether the police force is serving and protecting them from what's killing them (which is what they're doing btw). It's about equality.

I agree with the police to pull out, temporarily, until the lawmakers can settle their bills at dispute. The problem; withdraw and the media and the legislators will condemn the police. The protests which took place over the weekend were at large without any police presence. It isn't worth to police the riots at this time, all it does is to result in discrimination.

Live tv coverage, that should pay for the damages when you eventually go back in and clean it up once it's been abandoned.
