The pragmatists have had a long time to address the issues. The murders and brutality just keep happening with little consequence.

I don't know the Collins Khosa story, just saw this article this morning and thought that this was horrible. This doesn't seem to be big on local social media though?

Same with the brutal farm murders. Not much in the media.

Progressives/far right Leftists/BLM are currently dehumanizing the police and vilifying them. Police TV shows are being cancelled for crying out loud. According to some of our MyBB members, this is them acting badly in the face of accountability.

They are vilifying all the police for the actions of an overwhelming minority of bad actors. Once people lose respect for the police, you can kiss safe cities good bye. People will not join, they will not comply with law enforcement and the majority of police interactions will become even more hostile because all people of colour are going into them with the belief that they are being mistreated due to the colour of their skin.

I can say one thing. I wear a private security hat often as I am doing some product dev in that arena, and I see massive money making potential there. Ironic how these inquisitions lead to more inequality.

It's weird how you lot never point out that poor people of all races commit violent crime at a lot higher rate than middle-class people of all races...

Ever thought that it might be useful comparing poor white people to poor black people rather than making it only about race? Of course, as a percentage, a lot more black people are poor than white people so it suits your narrative to hint that crime is directly linked to skin pigmentation as opposed to income and social issues...

And how is that any different from you pushing a narrative that being poor is the cause for violence? This is patent BS.

If we were talking about theft, maybe your argument would hold water. But we are talking about violence.

I myself never understood the habit of being proud of something you had no part in creating. You just happen to have been born to a certain. Could have been any race & it really shouldn't be celebrated as an achievement when all it is, is an accident. I suppose it's a bit like being proud of your country, sports teams or similar.

Criminals tend to harden with time and practice. It should be obvious, when you grow up in an environment where to be a man you got to join a gang it is kinda hard to buck the trend. Some of them certainly get out but it takes effort and will that most average people don't have. So they take the route of least resistance.

I am not blind to the issues facing black America. But at some point these communities need to take responsibility for their own issues. First would be is to reduce single parent homes. Next would be to take out the teaching unions, or embrace a voucher system and/or charter schools. The last time I checked only 60% (and that is an optimistic number) of young black boys finish high school. 40% of black boys don't finish school. That statistic is shocking.

These things however are not popular, or issues that win local or national elections, so of course they won't be done. Meanwhile, race relations will decline because systemic racism is the Left's boogeyman.

They've been rapping and singing about these issues since the early 90's. Instead of focusing on the message regarding police brutality and violence in black communities, the powers that be were more concerned with protecting the police from artists lyrics (e.g cop killer, **** the police etc ) and protecting sensitive souls from expletives in records.

It’s always the ones that are incapable of creating anything themself. Similar to heirs who would rather live off an inheritance and family name than making something for themselves.
