This was a police brutality issue, and it needed urgent attention. But some people (with the Media at the forefront to get stories and headlines) have turned it into a racism issue that they think will be solved by removing historical artifacts. Guess what? it won't. Neither will it address police brutality against whites, Latinos and basically "people".
Its also now a bandwagon for a hundred other agendas by people pretending to be involved.

Neither will the 16-20yr olds running in streets undisciplined and rude and uncontrolled, 99.99% of whom probably have no idea what they're actually protesting about.

Russian T-34 tanks were superior than most german tanks. The ones they were inferior to, were not produced in sufficient numbers by Germany to make any tactical advantages.

Zhukov out maneuvered the Germans. Summer offensive of 1942 stopped the Germans. They got bogged down in the winter of 1942 and were encircled and an entire German division was effectively wiped out.

Russians successfully gave up land and played for time, so they could muster adequate forces to counter the German forces in key strategic battles.

By 1944, with Operation Bagration, Germany could offer little effective resistance and the Soviet forces steamrolled the Nazis all the way back. Within 10 days the Soviets pushed them back from Minsk to the pre-war Poland border.

They were in Berlin pretty soon afterwards.
