The U.S has a history of slavery and racism ala per excellence (put snooty french word here). Yet they had the audacity to impose sanctions on SA over apartheid! As far as I know the U.S government never had to pay any price for the racial history. No sanctions, no nothing. Yet some black people here hold them as paragons of virtue? Just a side rant.

Who holds the US as paragons of virtue? Please name these people.

The looting is just the local criminal scum that will pillage, burn and steel at any opportunity.

It doesn't change what the police did. The police are actually more at fault for giving them the opportunity in the first place and now standing back and letting it happen.

I don't think anyone here agrees with with what the cop did. I certainly don't.
I haven't seen anyone, even on twitter, defend the cop.

There is definitely some heavy hande police presence needed there. But now that there is more than one lone guy the police are cowards and hiding.

That cop who pinned the guy down with his knee would warrant an immediate execution from me. Immediate.

1 or 2 minutes should be fine 5 is overkill.
