Do you know if this quitting/firing is like ANC/Catholic church style quitting/firing when one is just redeployed somewhere once things calm down?Atlanta's police chief quit and the police officer suspected of shooting Mr Brooks was fired.
Send your tips to the Met. No idea if they were arrested. This guy in particular?
Or this one?
This is wrong, as you cannot be BEE level 1 without a hundred percent black ownership, as well as paying for socio economic, development , skills development and the other hoops that all companies jump through to score your 100 points
I am not sure why you say what I have written is wrong? We are essentially saying the same thing or am I misreading something?
Doesn't hold up.Maybe statues should be there to remind people of their past.
It was one of the suggestions that was made with the whole RhodesMustFall thing, was that instead of tearing down the statue, they would put up the history of what they did such that to contextualise the statue in a historically correct way.
Who takes a child to a protest?
Oh that first picture is actually from 2010.This guy in particular?
Or this one?
Right.
Right.
So why is a statue any different?
People who don't expect to be pepper sprayed while peacefully protesting
Very interesting that you use that word:Doesn't hold up.
Kentucky had a statue of Davis in their senate or what ever.
Kentucky was not part of the Confederacy. Why does Kentucky need that statue?
Statues are a form of idolatry. Not history.
Germans are very aware of Hitler, the pain he caused. There are no statues in Germany of Hitler. Having his statue there would not raise any more awareness, but would become a shrine to the Neo-Nazis.
Money for statues should be spent on funding libraries and museums.
Idolatry is the worship of an idol or cult image, being a physical image, such as a statue, or a person in place of God.

At their very basic root, they are a form of property. Either publicly owned or privately owned. Both of which you would probably agree with me are not up to being vandalized.Statues are different from a lot of things that offend me. You asked a ridiculously generalized question.
Very interesting that you use that word:
What do the protestors (and the progressive establishment in general) do? They establish a religion in everything but name
1) Establish original sin:
straight, white or male = bad
LGBT, POC = good.
2) Tear down all the false idols and eliminate all the other "religions". <- You are here
3) Have a god of the gaps: If you find any gap in knowledge, assume it is because of racism and sexism.
4) Confess your sins of you are a "bad" person
5) Have a ceremony with all the pomp and circumstance of it;![]()

So you confirm that statues don't offer any value for historical education and their value as such is somewhat meaningless.
