German Shepherd Pups

Don't get a dog from KUSA. They give a guarantee of pure bred parentage but flipping zero health guarantees at all. Call them and ask if you don't believe me. We lost an 8-month-old pure bred KUSA dog to hip dysplasia and found out the premium we had paid to the brender (R10k) was not in any way a related to the quality of the pets health. No KUSA breeder is required to give you any health checks or guarantees for the pets.

Definitely go with the GSD federation. They are not affiliated to KUSA, but are affiliated to the German SV, which places the dogs' health, functional performance and the overall health of the breed as a priority. We have 2 healthy GSDs from breeders in GP, but they have branches all over SA. The branches also have weekly training for your family's needs to develop what you need from the dogs.

Can't help you.

But to the other people that know John Snow about security:

Can your alarm see the street and alert you before your wall/fence is even reached? Does is alert you when some ahole is reaching through the gate trying to mess with your gate motor and maybe then bite that offending appendage? Does it do anything but make a noise when someone is in the yard or trying to harm you? Does it help you at all when you are in the garden doing garden work and it is switched off?

The alarm is a good suggestion as one of the minimum 2 deterrents in the yard layer of security.

You don't want me to post a long post about layers and security again do you?

I'm surrounded by .... !!!!!!!

We eventually found someone who got her two dogs from her daughter who is a breeder and registered, so the grandparents of the puppies we seeing tomorrow are registered as show dogs.

They got both parents for us to see tomorrow, both black and tan with 3 female puppies, they also on a farm in the Richmond area.

so what's her name? shadow?

:p

Tried to put her in the kitchen to sleep for the night, but she kept crying and wanted to be next to me in the lounge.

Now she is fast asleep.

Awww :( Funny though, a baby can cry and I feel nothing, a dog cries and I'm like "Where are you?! Daddy's coming!"

Lucy at the moment is her name as she responds to it

Ye I am running after Lucy worrying about her all the time when she does something or cries :).

Haven't had a sleep longer than 3 hours yet since I got her.

Hahaha, so worth it though :)! Many happy days await, just buy her a chew toy, learnt the hard way.... and walks, plenty walks, tires em out so they sleep a little longer....

Bought lots of different chew toys and ropes and took her for a long walk at the Quarry centre today on the lead, she did quite well.
