just got back from the game, oh my word that stadium is absolutely brilliant.
Yeah, we could see pockets of empty seats here and there (not that many though). Makes me pissed off, some people sat at FNB's/ticketing centres for 2 days and were turned away.
It was becoming embarassing to watch, the German actually held back. The Germans kept making that same run down the right wing, interplaying it, and the Ozzies refused to tackle or mark them.

Germany played well, but I wouldn't say brilliant performance. You can't weigh their performance when they are playing against a ****ty team!
Ag to be honest, it didn't really bother me, because I didn't let it bother me. I did notice however, that mostly Indian/white kids were blowing it. At one point, we had a vuvu rhythm going in our section, was quite awesome.
Also, I'm sure everyone knows that FIFA were talking nonsense when they said they would be checking ID's. Didn't happen tonight.
