Ancient? Everything before that
Anything else is not so much an "old gamer" as it is an old person gaming

The first gaming console was my old nes golden china back in 92. Double dragon 2 ftw. And before that moral kombat at the arcades yay. Also I witnessed a girl play all those old adventure games that was mentioned.

Old ZX Spectrum 48k owner here (my mother threw it away after I moved out )..
Panzadrome and Jet Set Willy were my two favourite games.
If only my mother knew back then what an addict these complex adding machines would turn me into she would have never bought me the damned contraption!
