Gigabyte products

These days, it's luck of the draw IMO. All brands seem to suffer runs of poor Quality checking and some great releases as well.

All my PC's i've had over the last 8 or so years have been based on GB. Been very happy :)
I sell a lot of MSI boards, havn't had any issues yet.

Yes The Asus bord are verry nice if u have the money to buy them cause they are really really expensive. MSI bords are nice if u know how to work with them and it's not that difficult to do so.

MSI also don't put the unneeded stuff in the motherboard so that makes it a cheaper board. Gigabyte is also on the expensive side.

For the same money...

however it is interesting to note that it is only up to the GA-G33M-DS2R in the Intel Mobos that they start using 4x RAM - whereas with AM2 it starts on the next board up

The AMD2 entry level (GA-M61SME-S2) clearly gives a better spec for the motherboard... call me a buff old cove but I would think the 6100 (up to 128 meg) would beat the Intel 950 (up to 32 meg)

But even if it was close I would at least think that retailers, wholesalers and maybe just the public would try and support some form of competition... perhaps Telkom know how stupid we really are and are just laughing at us as we talk as much hot air as parliament

Today saw G31MX-S2 at Sandton cityincredible corruption, selling for R649.95. To be honest I did not expect IC to sell it at this price, Which I got it for R626 from Sybaritics couple weeks ago, profit about R50 on top of Rectron price.
