Gmail not working?

Did a search but came up with nothing...

Anyway, google.com and google.co.za work fine. But gmail.com REFUSES to load for me. I am on MWEB uncapped. I saw a similar kind of thread a few days ago where people suggested to a dude that it was a DNS server issue. And I was having similar problems so I went through the same process and everything was fine. Now, gmail just wont load at all. Only since this morning!

Is it just me, or is it not loading for anyone!?

Edit: I just discovered it works in Firefox but not in Chrome! I am pretty sure they have the same settings so wtf?

does come to loading screen?

there you can just press basic HTML,should load then.

mine works at work IS
 
Mate had a problem earlier where this week where it would not load on FF 3.6. Chrome worked and when he installed FF 4.0 that also worked.
 
Thanks for the replies guys. Basically, it isn't loading at all. It says waiting for mail.google.com at the bottom and the little thing goes round and round and round... But Firefox is loading it instantly. Gonna fiddle around a bit with setting and see if I can fix it. I have a feeling it might have something to do with the fact that I have a proxy for UCT's network...
 
Got it working!!! As I suspected, the minute I disabled the proxy settings in Chrome it worked. So weird, that ONLY gmail was affected!

Maybe https was not being proxied and you were connecting to GMail over https, or something similar (don't know your setup).
