GMC H-80 + cm hyper 212

i am thinking of getting one
but i also want the cm hyper 212 evo with push-pull
but if i do it the fan on the side panal wont fit with the cpu cooler

so if i swap out the big fan for 3x 120mm and leave the left upper one out,will the cpu cooler fit in the open spot?

almost like this but i only leave out the upper left one?

maby someone here with a gmc 80 can help

i curruntly have a deep cool mini 80mm cpu cooler,its working good,so i dont know

i dont overclock,i just like things running cool
here in worcester it get f'n hot so it good

my specs

i5 2400 3.1Ghz
gtx 460 1gb
8gb ram
h61 mobo
585w gigabite psu

also thinking of getting a HDD cooler and 2ram heatspredders

Why would you go for a GMC. They are bliksem ugly and made of cheap parts

Rather go for a cheap Coolermaster/Corsair/Antec

I have the GMC-H80 with the big fan & still some room left with a Coolermaster Hyper N520!
It is a total of 141mm from bottom to top where your cooler is 160mm I believe you would just make it but it would be cutting it terribly close. (With the big fan) It would be a better bet getting four 120mm fans with a low profile it would work quite nicely!

It might just fit but I won't take the chance. Stick with your deep cool mini. With stock speeds it should be more than sufficient. Just clean it and aplly thernal paste correctly then you are good to go! The Big intake fan on the side panel also blows directly onto the cpu cooler with the top 120mm exhaust fan directly above it you won't have heat issues!

cyber, u got the hyper 212 evo to fit in it? i have same cooler but are afraid it wont fit...
