...what do you mean in the US the Edition 30 has a K04? every Edition 30 in the world has a K04. And if you didnt know by now,
Euro GTi's were built here in S.A, and they did fit alot of GTi's with K04. So much for your knowledge on VW.

Which GTis have K04? Are you serious? I doubt it... they have K03s, K04 will be in the 177kw category...

I'm gonna give this a go. The price isnt too bad either. I Should get a cut in my insurance premium once i complete it. So well worth it..

How do you know you have a K04? If you do, then you the only one in SA who has one from the factory.
Im talking from my experience. I have a 07 and 08 GTI and both are K03.

i know cos i asked my VW dealer (Anil VW hatfield PTA) to check it.
Look, you can own 100 GTi's and if you were unlucky not to get a K04, thats your loss. I dont have time to open my hood for my own pleasure, do you actually think i'll waste my time for a fool like you ?
How many Kw you pushing? K04 turbo + downpipe + decat and probably a remap?

@ Viper25 the reason I have 2 is I just bought the 08. The 07 is for sale. The dealers were offering me a ridiculous trade in so I decided to sell it privately.

i already told you i pushed 176kw stock standard. no time to do a dyno after the exhaust mods.
The Golf V has a K03 turbo and not a K04 turbo.
If you say you have the K04 turbo then you must have the only one in SA. The dealership you bought the car from lied to you.
Its not uncommon to be lied to buy dealerships. But for damn sake man, know at least what is under you hood. You making yourself look daft!
