I just spent the day at Kyalami with the GTI/R32 advanced driving.... MAN O MAN!! What an amazing time..... Guys, do yourselves a favour and try it out if you haven't already- we spent the morning at Swartkops on the skid pan and then after lunch had Instruction/lessons plus 3 four lap sessions around Kyalami (which I have never driven) in 2 GTI's and 1 R32..... The biggest Jol I have ever had - I'm addicted! Now must just remind myself not to try my car around the streets.. hehe... oh and by the way GTI over a R32(still a sexy car) anyday (except down in DBN perhaps... hehe)

It has been confirmed Catch21 is an Idiot.
They also agree that there is no K04 GTI available is SA.
About the rims, it was just another promise you couldnt keep.

Dude I cant justify spending more than R15K on rims.
I'll tell you how you can settle this. Is you car chipped or stock? If it stock I'll have a run with you. If you do have a K04 you should leave me by light poles.
If you are chipped then we can have the run once FRC reopen and I can get mine chipped.

Anyone changed their tyres on their GTI V? What did you have and what did you choose? I need some 18" replacements looking at 4 options - Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli & Toyo.... Any pointers?

This little war of words you having is really of no interest to the thread - so why don't you add some worthwhile info or view, or go start your own thread to feed your destructive opinion
how many km's did you do with your tires ?
I would highly suggest Bridgestones RE050 (stock tires), but Pirelli and Conti's are really good too. I wouldnt touch the others especially Toyo's, to me they give a very 'hard' ride.

I managed 22k on the conti set. I am looking at Bridgestones. Car came with Conti and I must say i cant complain with the conti tyre. Maybe Pirelli... Toyo I will avoid.. Thanks for the input
