streaming is a good and well as long as the internet connection is stable, robust and fast.
here in our country, we are reduced to "best effort".

for my part, navigating between 4000 music tracks and creating various playlists on local storage is exponentially quicker than navigating between various streaming providers to achieve the same result.

Spotify or Apple Music should be just as fast unless you’re stuck with 3g internet.
 
It's not an "interesting take", it's a crap take.

"Old" or "outdated" is entirely relative. Use/do what works best for your own needs. Don't just follow what some pleb(s) do online.

There will always be certain Pros & Cons of various approaches, see what works best for your own needs.
